Pellegrini-Olivet Lane Pinot Noir
The Olivet Lane Vineyard, planted in 1975, is home to the oldest vineyard destignate Pinot Noir in Russian River Valley. Carefully tended by hand from vineyard to bottle using artisanal methods to preserve the greatness of the fruit and achieve exceptional textural complexity.
Pellegrini-Olivet Lane Chardonnay
Truly a bounty of complexity, the 2018 Olivet Lane Chardonnay jumps into the nose with lemon verbena, pear, sage, nutmeg, nutmeg, and toasted coconut. Upon the first sip, pralines, caramel, baked apples, and star anise ring in symphony with the bright acid, conveying lemon curd, granny smith apple, and white peach.
Pellegrini Unoaked Chardonnay R.R.V.
No oak, no malolactic conversion. Pure Chardonnay. The true personality of the Chardonnay grape shines in this surprising wine. Chablis styled, it presents clean and a bit austere at first, though finishes quite expressively. Our Unoaked Chardonnay gleams with aromas of white peach, Meyer lemon rind, assorted melons, and river stones. Once sipped, tangerine, lychee, pear, and cantaloupe take over. Honeysuckle and anise provide floral balance to the fruit.
Pellegrini-Olivet Lane Rosé of Pinot Noir
Our 2021 vintage of estate Rosé elegantly bursts with aromas of peach, yellow rose, grapefruit rind, and lilac. On the tongue, light Rainier cherries, apricot, and golden watermelon linger long on the nuanced finish. Enjoy within the next two years.
"There is clearly something special about the combination of soil, rootstock and clone at Olivet Lane Vineyard." Rusty Gaffney, The Pinot File
The Pellegrini family name has been associated with every tier of the wine business since the early part of the 20th Century, as producers, grape sellers, importers, and wholesale distributors. Having been winegrowers and importers since 1925 and family owned for four generations, the Pellegrini's are considered California wine pioneers. Our historic monople vineyard at Olivet Lane Estate is home to the oldest producing Pinot Noir vines in Sonoma County. Named for the mature olive trees lining the entrance, the Olivet Lane Vineyard is a valued source of grapes for some of the appellation’s most acclaimed wines.
