"Inman is a place you’re likely to meet the winemaker. This is your opportunity to ask questions about sparkling wine production or organic farming. Try the silky Olivet Grange Estate Pinot Noir." Esther Mobley, San Francisco Chronicle

About Us

Inman Family Wines handcrafts small lots of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Rosé, and Sparkling Wines in Sonoma County's Russian River Valley. We are committed to quality from grape to glass – from our environmentally sensitive viticultural practices to our attention to detail in sustainable winemaking. We endeavor to make our wines as naturally as possible, with as little human intervention as possible, to ensure they embody not only the pure personality of the grapes from which they’re made, but also the singular character of the place where they’re born.

Born and raised in Napa, CA, winemaker Kathleen Inman is known for her "edge." It's an edge borne of intelligence and character that comes to fruition in many forms. An aficionado of contemporary indie-rock, her tastes in music describe her wines–creative, authentic, feet on the ground, and hands in the soil. She is a talented chef whose farm to table culinary expertise is legendary. Established in 2000 with the planting of our Olivet Grange Vineyard, Inman Family Wines is the result of Kathleen Inman's love of Pinot Noir and the soil that produces it. Kathleen is the winemaker and General Manager of Inman Family Wines and Olivet Grange Vineyard, or as she often says, "Grapegrower, winemaker, salesperson, accountant, and forklift driver."
