About Us
We are a family run, small vineyard and winery which creates estate and single vineyard wines. We are proud that our limited production wines are receiving gold, double gold, and best in class designations in major wine competitions.
Pinot Noir and Riesling are grown in our vineyard, which is in the renown Green Valley of the Russian River. The winery is on-site and we produce Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Rosé of Pinot Noir, and several styles of Pinot Noir wines there.

Open Thur to Sun, from 11am - 4:30pm
Come sample the Char Vale wines at their home. Wine tastings are seated, overlooking or next to the estate vineyard. Guests like to linger in the country setting and you can bring in light picnic fare or appetizers to enjoy with your wines. Tasting room hours are 11AM to 4:30 PM each day, except we are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged but, as space allows, we accommodate "short notice" and "walk-in" guests. Please call ahead to check on current guest policies. Special tastings may be arranged on Tuesday and Wednesday, with advance notice. Reserve tastings, tours, and custom or romantic experiences may also be arranged on any day, with sufficient advance notice. Group tastings can be accommodated. We look forward to seeing you.
