About Us

Established at the crux of the Russian River, Alexander and Knights valleys, the Hitchcock Estate Vineyard lies in the Eastern Hills neighborhood of the Russian River Valley AVA, overlapping the Chalk Hill region.

The property’s quarter-of-a-century-old Cabernet Sauvignon vines are situated on a ridge approximately 550 feet above sea level. The vines (a blend of 08 and 337 clones) are planted on steep hillsides and influenced by abundant sunshine and breezes. Wines made from these grapes are complex, intense and age-worthy.
